Abstract:
The reliability of current transformer operation is directly related to the safe and stable operation of power grid. This paper introduces a 220 kV current transformer oil level abnormal fault, in order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid and to avoid the occurrence of accidents, the content of dissolved gas in insulating oil was detected for other current transformers made by the same manufacturer of fault current transformer, and abnormal conditions were found. In order to find out the cause of the fault, the fault current transformer was checked and disassembled at the factory, and several problems were found in the vacuum drying of the equipment and the primary insulation of the equipment, the partial overheat、water decomposition and partial discharge occur in the operation of the equipment. With the increase of partial discharge and overheat, the insulation oil will deteriorate and a lot of gas will precipitate out. According to the reason of failure, the corresponding preventive measures are put forward.
