Abstract:
A narrow gap A-DA’D-A acceptor based on benzotriazole was designed and synthesized, named BTz-TTC9-4F. By introducing multiple fused benzotriazole and IC-4F, BTz-TTC9-4F can maintain a narrow bandgap of 1.39 eV, showing wide absorption from 500 nm to 1000 nm in spectrum, due to the introduction of benzotriazole with weak central nuclear electron absorption ability. The strong intermolecular charge transfer in the central benzotriazole and IC-2F endgroup. The compound structure of BTz-TTC9-4F was detected by 1H NMR. Not only the solubility of BTz-TTC9-4F in some organic solvents is good, but also BTz-TTC9-4F has a wide absorption making for high efficiency organic solar cells obtained.
