Abstract:
The current transformation in the supply of electrical energy is characterized by the integration of a large number of decentralized charging fleets. While many studies show that uncontrolled correlated charging patterns need to be avoided, research needs to address the issue of how to deal with the expected rise of demanded power and increased simultaneity in the grid. In order to master the resulting challenges, the passive medium- and low voltage distribution grids have to be further developed into intelligent smart grids. Using robust control algorithms for intelligent management of flexible loads and renewable energy sources can be an efficient solution.
