Abstract:
This contribution analyses whether and under which circumstances a cross-sectoral exchange of cables and pipes can lead to a decrease in costs in renewal plannings and which measures make the cross-sectoral exchange more effective. For this purpose, an automated renewal planning tool is used, which analyses the opportunity of cross-sectoral renewals by reducing the number of exchange measures. The costs are calculated dynamically depending on the number of lines in the common trench, the sector to which the lines belong, and the german DIN standards which are relevant for the underground construction. The results show that when the exchange times are aligned, a cross-sectoral exchange gives cost advantages compared to the sector-separated and the single exchange of lines.
