Abstract:
Aiming at the antenna pattern simulation problem in radar and electronic warfare simulation systems, an optimized radar antenna pattern parametric simulation model is proposed. Based on the idea of parametric curve interpolation, the Sinc function is extended to fit the side lobes but not only the main lobe, realizing high-precision simulation of the antenna main lobe and multi-level side lobes. On this basis, it is extended to the azimuth-elevation two-dimensional angular space, and a real-time simulation method of the azimuth-elevation two-dimensional pattern suitable for circular antennas, elliptical antennas and rectangular antennas is proposed. Finally, a simulation was carried out to prove the validity of the model. This method greatly reduces the simulation calculation and can meet the real-time calculation requirements of the antenna pattern of the radar electronic warfare simulation system.
