Abstract:
The rapid advancement of the Internet has led to the rapid development of a new industry, the online car industry. The rise of car-hailing industry has a profound impact on the survival and development of traditional transport modes, and at the same time, it makes travellers' choice of modes of travel more complicated. As a leading group in the experimental phase of a new industry, the college students have a distinctive life pattern and travel characteristics. Therefore, it is particularly important to deeply explore the factors that influence the choice of college students' travel modes under the background of online car-sharing. This paper conducts a random survey on the travel behaviour of the college students in Dalian based on a combined SP/RP survey method and analyses the relevant data statistically. By integrating Structural Equation Model (SEM) and Multinomial Logit (MNL), a SEM-MNL travel mode discrete choice model is established, which integrates traditional factors such as personal characteristics, travel characteristics and attitude perception factors, and determines the travel mode choice model of college students through model parameter estimation and testing. On this basis, the factors affecting the travel mode choice of college students are rationalized and analysed.
