Abstract:
This study is based on the analysis of the service quality management of stadiums and gyms in colleges and universities in Guangdong Province, China. Starting from the perspective of public services, the analysis revolves around students’ satisfaction, variables affecting the service quality and different dimensions of the service quality management. Research methods including literature research, expert interviews, questionnaire, data analysis are used in this study. The SPSS 17.0 software is used to analyze and process the data obtained from the questionnaires. A statistical analysis is conducted from aspects like the overall image, students’ expectations, value perception, attention from the leadership, strategic deployment, etc. Models of satisfaction on college stadiums/gyms have been built. This study suggests that though students’ needs are valued in the service quality management of college stadiums/gyms, there is still a lack of effective method to investigate the real needs of students, resulting in the loss of direction in the planning of service quality management; moreover, facing the uneven levels of service quality management, we still lack a unified standard for service quality evaluation.
