              Abstract:
In this study, the system behavior of a model-predictive controlled matrix converter as a motor converter of a permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) is analyzed at different input and output frequencies. In addition to the variation of the frequencies, a differentiation of the chosen basis vectors takes place in order to present the differences by using rotating vectors. For the investigation, the Finite Control Set Model Predictive Control (FCS-MPC) algorithm was derived for PMSM in grid applications with and without rotating voltage vectors and these different operating parameters were subjected to a parameter study.
