Abstract:
This paper examines the feasibility of using neutrinos for long baseline communication, leveraging existing proton accelerator and neutrino detector technologies. A neutrino-based link enables secure physical-layer key exchange by exploiting the neutrinos’ ability to penetrate the Earth with minimal interaction, effectively preventing eavesdropping. It also supports lowlatency transmission of identification-coded messages, enabling rapid verification based on Ahlswede and Dueck’s identification theory. This approach may open new ways for secure, low-latency, intercontinental communication.
