Abstract:
This paper presents a methodology to minimize the current distortion and spikes during the voltage zero crossing with reactive power compensation in the totem-pole bridgeless converter for V2G application. The methodology does not contain any hardware modification and only relies on the specific digital control implementation proposed in this work. The current distortion improvement is validated first using hardware in the loop simulations and then by experimental results on a single-phase 7 kW on-board charger prototype.
