Abstract:
The paper presents research activities in the area of computing support for the design and tuning of new technologies of traction power supply 25 kV 50 Hz. The paper analyzes the methodology of parametrizing simulation models, which are necessary for the design and tuning of short-circuit protection in the traction network and the output characteristics of the converters in connection with continuous bilateral power supply by semiconductor converters. These simulation models work on the basis of phasor calculus. The paper presents cases of possible simplification of parameterization and analyzes the properties of simulation calculations with regard to the effects of mutual inductances and capacities of the traction circuit on the accuracy of circuit calculations using examples. Calculations of partial simulation models are validated by measured data.
