Abstract:
The energy transition is associated with the comprehensive electrification of all areas of the energy and mobility industries. This results in a dramatically increasing demand for high-performance, reliable and cost-effective power electronic components for the switching, control and conversion of energy flows. In the context mentioned, aspects of circular economy are of strategic relevance. The fundamental idea, for reasons of sustainability, is to keep power electronic components in the utilization cycle for a long time. In this context, repair processes for ceramic-based power electronic components are also of interest. This article presents aspects and results of the repair of such components.
