Abstract:
Dual inverter systems with open-end winding motors have been proposed as potential alternatives for highperformance applications. These systems consist of two sixpack topologies connected to opposite sides of an open-end winding motor (without a neutral point). This paper aims to analyze semiconductor power losses in different architectures of dual inverter systems with open-end winding motors and benchmark them against each other.
