Abstract:
This paper presents the power loss analysis of the non-isolated single-inductor single-input dual-output (SI-SIDO) boost-buck-boost DC-DC converter during the continuous switching method. A theoretical approach is introduced to calculate the inductor losses of the proposed converter, offering a deeper understanding of the efficiency constraints. In addition to analyzing power losses across various components, thermal simulations of the semiconductor devices are conducted using the PLECS simulation program. These simulations provide insights into the thermal behavior and contribute to the overall evaluation of the converter’s performance and efficiency.
