Abstract:
This paper presents a method for monitoring the temperature field of the stator winding in permanent magnet synchronous motors. First, based on the actual geometric dimensions and material properties of the stator winding samples, a three-dimensional model of the stator winding is established, encompassing the stator core, insulation layer, and winding section. Subsequently, leveraging the heat transfer characteristics of the actual stator winding and the material properties of each component, a two-dimensional thermal network model simulation circuit is constructed to simulate heat transfer processes. Simultaneously, simulations of both the two-dimensional thermal circuit model and the threedimensional model are performed, yielding a temperature field distribution map of the stator winding sample cross-section. Finally, experimental validation is conducted, and the experimental results corroborate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
