Abstract:
Animal health is of particular importance, especially in agricultural regions. To improve animal welfare through the early and automated detection of diseases, medication should be prevented as far as possible. The goal is to be achieved by developing a networked multi-sensor system whose information is used for the early detection of abnormalities in the digestive tract and vital parameters of animals, thus enabling targeted and species-appropriate treatment. The aim of the project presented here is therefore the research and development of an innovative and modular animal monitoring system.
