Abstract:
The installation of public 5G wireless networks is advancing. At the same time, private 5G networks are playing an increasingly important role, especially in research. Data are kept in the in-house network and the bandwidth is fully available to internal users and does not have to be shared with unknown parties. This contribution presents some experiences and exemplary applications related to the 5G networks at the two locations Cottbus and Senftenberg at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU-CS).
