Abstract:
In this work, the operating point of a mode-locked diode laser used for two-photon polymerization is optimized. This is achieved by focusing the laser beam into an optically non-linear crystal (β-BBO). Here, the second harmonic of the excitation frequency (SHG) is generated. By means of a suitable filter, both components are separated and the average optical power of the generated frequency is measured. At the point of highest power, the pulse train emitted by the laser is measured using an optical spectrum analyzer, an optical autocorrelator, and a power detector. The laser is then used for 2PP with the identified operating point.
