Abstract:
In this work, we present a multiphysical equivalent circuit of a chemo-fluidic Analog/Digital Flash-Converter (ADC) including the new circuit description of a fluidic mixing node. This type of chemo-fluidic circuits are applied to determine the unknown concentration level of a liquid, for example in biomedical engineering, particularly for quality assurance in organs, tissues, and cells. The model includes the fluidic domain and the concentration domain and enables the closed behavioral simulation within a single circuit description, e.g., with LTSPICE. The presented lab-on-a-chip (LoC) predictive simulation-based design concept has the potential to reduce the amount of needed experimental work and to help in the optimization of set-ups.
