This International Standard series establishes IEC reuqirements for avaluating PV module performance based on power (watts), energy (watt-hours) and performance ratio (PR). It is written to be applicable to all PV technologies, but may not work well for any technology where the module performance suffers from transient behavoor such as light induced degradation and/or thermal annealing.
