This standard applies together with DIN VDE 0105 100 (VDE 0105 100) for the operation of electrical installations in accordance with DIN V VDE V 0166 (VDE V 0166) in areas that are endangered by substances with explosive characteristics. To be complied with in this standard, described changes and additions. Unless areas are also endangered by explosion hazards, further requirements apply therefore.
