This VDE application guide is to be applied, if electric circuits with nominal voltages above AC 45 kV depending on actual weather conditions in contraty to DIN EN 50182 shall be operated with a current exceeding the rated value of the conductor, without exceeding the maximal temperature of the conductor and without going below the minimal distance between the conductor and ground or other objects.
