Parallel groove clamps according to this standard are used preferably for overhead electrical lines and switchgears and controlgears with nominal system voltages exceeding AC 1 kV and DC 1,5 kV.
Only conductors according to DIN EN 50182 with the same nominal diameter are to be clamped with the current terminals.
