This Harmonization Document specifies the test methods and requirements for fingerprinting of heat shrinkable components intended to be used in cable accessories for medium voltage, as defined in HD 629.1 and HD 629.2.
Fingerprinting of materials does not have a mandatory link to type testing of accessories. It shall be regarded as a stand-alone test, but may be carried out in combination with the accessory type tests.
