In Germany the official personal dosimetry for neutron radiation is made using albedo dosemeters with thermoluminescence detectors (TLD albedo dosemeters) according to DIN 6802-4:1998-04. When DIN EN ISO 21909-2 (VDE 0492-3-909-2) is published, DIN 6802-4:1998-04 will be withdrawn. This supplement describes that the procedure according to DIN 6802-4 is conform to ISO 21909-2 and how it will be handled in future.
