This International Standard outlines guidance for measuring radon-222 activity concentration and the potential alpha energy concentration of its short-lived decay products in the air. Part 6 of series ISO 11665 gives guidelines on estimating the radon-222 surface exhalation rate at a given point, at the interface of the medium (soil, rock, laid building material, wall, etc.) and the atmosphere.
