This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 50400 + AC:2011 + A1:2012 with requirements for the evaluation of the electromagnetic fields and the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) in the frequency range 110 MHz to 40 GHz caused by radio base stations and fixed terminal stations for wireless telecommunication systems related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields. The objective of this standard is to specify the procedure for the demonstration of compliance with the reference values for the electromagnetic field or the basic restrictions for the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) for the equipment covered by this standard, when it is put into service. For this purpose alternative routes are described for the determination, if for certain areas access restriction for the general public is required. Amendment A1 adds the annexes F, G, H etc.
