This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 55016-1-5:2015 and is identical to the International Standard CISPR 16-1-5: 2014. It specifies requirements for the validation of measuring sites used for the calibration of measuring antennas in the frequency range 30 MHz to 1 000 MHz. The purpose is to demonstrate with the help of this standard the validity of the measuring site. Therefore the antenna calibration measuring site must fulfil certain requirements concerning its site attenuation to be appropriate for the calibration of antennas. The new edition of the standard serves for the introduction of requirements for other antenna calibration test sites which are needed for the application of CISPR 16-1-6.
