This standard contains the German version of the European standard EN 61000-6-7:2015 which takes over the International Standard IEC 61000-6-7 (edition 2014). It specifies immunity requirements in the frequency range 0 Hz to 400 GHz for electrical and electronic equipment intended for use in safety related applications. The purpose of this standard is therefore the ensurance of the functional safety under the influence of electromagnetic disturbances. Herefore the standard specifies immunity tests as one element of the strategy for the achievement of the goal mentioned above. These tests are additional to the normal immunity tests. The new criteria DS is specified as performance criteria. Besides the immunity tests further measures can be implemented in order to reach the aim.
