This standard contains the german version of EN 62226-3-1:2007 + A1:2017 and is identical with the International standard IEC 62226-3-1 (edition 2007) and its Amendment 1 (edition 2016). It describes analytical and numerical 2D models that can be applied for the assessment of the compliance with basic restrictions, that are given for the safety of persons in low and intermediate frequency electromagnetic fields. The basic restrictions are based on limits for the induced current density and the induced internal electric fieldstrength. In relation to the previous edition of the standard specifications concerning the internal electric fields were added.
