This standard contains requirements for the limitation of harmonic currents of electrical and electronic equipment with an input current = 16 A per phase intended to be connected to public low-voltage distribution systems. Changes to the previous edition include lighting equipment, the 3rd harmonic order limit for class C equipment, multifunction equipment, external power supplies, calculation of the POHC, and compliance when using alternative test methods.
