This explanatory sheet contains information for the interpretation of DIN EN 61000-3-3 (VDE 0848-3). This information serves for the reduction of the measurement uncertainty due to fluctuations of the test voltage which is used for the flicker measurement. These fluctuations have an effect on the result of the measured short-term flicker. The standard contains requirements for voltage changes, voltage fluctuations and flicker caused by electrical and electronic equipment with an input current = 16 A per phase, which are intended for connection to a public low-voltage power distribution network and are not subject to conditional connection.
