This VDE-Guideline is part of a series of VDE guidelines for the further education and training of specialists in broadband expansion (fibre optics). This VDE-Guideline specifies the technical requirements for specialists working in the field of fibre optic network planning and specifies the procedure for further and advanced training in nationwide Fttx expansion from the POP to the HÜP. This guideline VDE 0800-250 describes the basics of fibre optic planning and the technical requirements for persons working in this area of fibre optic technology who carry out activities as part of their duties. The specializations on infrastructure specialists for fibre optic technology based on this are integrated. The specialization modules are: approval planning, implementation planning and network planning.
