This VDE-Guideline describes the material requirements for the construction of a sustainable fibre optic network in buildings.
In the building sector in particular, where various fire protection standards must be observed, there has been a lack of reliable, practical specifications for the planning and construction of building-internal network infrastructure.
Although the TKG prescribes the construction of in-building passive network infrastructures, the legislator does not define the requirements for materials and installation.
