This VDE-Standard describes a test method for evaluating the behaviour of micro cables and fibre units when they are blown into and out of a microduct. The test conditions are adapted to the conditions in practical installation in the area of in-house networks of network level 4 and network level 5. These networks involve many bends and few long, straight sections, which often run vertically. This standard is applicable to products described in VDE 0800-730 "Guidelines and qualification samples for broadband - Part 730: Guideline on material requirements for FTTH broadband networks in buildings". This test also tests the blow-out capability of the cable.
