DIN EN 61000-3-2 VDE 0838-2:2010-03

This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 61000-3-2:2006 + A1:2009 + A2:2009 and takes over the International Standard IEC 61000-3-2:2005 and its Amendment 1:2008 and Amendment 2:2009. It contains requirements for harmonic currents caused by electrical and electronic equipment with an input current < 16 A per Phase, which are intended for connection to a public low-voltage power distribution network, in the latter. In relation to the previous edition DIN EN 61000-3-2 (VDE 0838-2):2006-10 the normative references were updated, definitions and specifications concerning the repeatability and variability of results of measurements were added, clarifications to the limits for lighting equipment were done and the test conditions for amplifiers, lamps, washing machines and information technology equipment were amended.
