DIN EN 60065 VDE 0860:2011-10

The safety standard DIN EN 60065 applies to electronic apparatus designed to be fed from the mains, from a supply apparatus or from batteries and intended for reception, generation, recording or reproduction respectively of audio, video and associated signals. This edition contains also the amendments according to EN 60065:2002/A2:2010 on IEC 60065, 7th edition, on several clauses. Moreover a new clause 21 "Resistance to candle flame ignition" is inserted which refers to the test according to IEC TC 62441. Moreover, this edition contains the european amendment A 12 introducing the new clause Zx "Protection against excessive sound pressure from personal music players" together with the new Annex Zx on the meaning of sound pressure output.
