This document stipulates the basic characteristics and test methods of the nuclear reactor reactivity meters, which are applicable to various nuclear reactors that can be described by neutron kinetic model of reactor (e. g. pressurized water reactors, boiling-water reactors, gas cooled reactors). The document applies to all on-line measuring instruments that directly obtain reactivity values by measuring the neutron flux density.
