This part of the lEC 60320 sets the general requirements for appliance couplers for two poles and two poles with earth contact and for the connection of electrical devices for household and similar onto the mains supply.
It also includes requirements for Interconnection couplers for the interconnection of the electrical supply to appliance or equipment.
The rated voltage is not exceeding 250 V (ac) and a rated current not exceeding 16 A.
