Amendment 1 to this collateral standard is intended to address high-priority issues that a 2/3 majority of the National Committees present and voting at the October 2016 meeting of IEC/SC 62A in Frankfurt, Germany have determined need to be considered for inclusion in an amendment and should not wait until the Fifth Edition, which is presently targeted for publication sometime after 2024.
