This document deals with the functional performance criteria of the robots intended for the use in the AAL connected home environment (CHE), rated voltage for single-phase robot being not more than 250V, and not more than 480V for others. This document is not applicable to robots for medical purposes. The purpose of this document is to highly consider and integrate AAL user’s characters and needs into the robots’ develop, design and evaluation, to promote the AAL robots’ functional performance. This document will make it possible to recognize and define AAL robots’ function/performance and specific technical requirements. It will serve as criteria for the products design, manufacturing, testing and certification, and provide a technical support to guarantee the quality of the robots products.
