IEC 63168 series specifies AAL specific functional safety requirements of electrical/electronic (E/E) safety-related systems for cooperative multiple systems that are operated together in a connected home environment. This part specifies the procedures which system developers of the cooperative multiple systems in the connected home environment will follow in order to design the safety measures with the consideration of AAL aspects as “product development phase” in the safety life cycle.
