Inhalt:
Bistatic Synthetic Aperture Radar is a new frontier that is currently under investigation because of its potentiality in several applications, such as land mapping and in-scene target detection and recognition. Nevertheless, when targets are non-cooperative, ISAR approaches must be followed in order to obtain well focussed images. Therefore, problems related to bistatic ISAR must be tackled and solved. In this work, image formation problems are dealt with in presence of bistatic angle changes in the Coherent Processing Interval (CPI) and synchronisation errors. High order polynomial phase models are used for solving autofocusing problems in such scenarios.
