In this paper, we propose applying smart antenna technology to AAC and propose a new horizontal pattern control algorithm that is suited to AAC (referred to as the AAC-SA (Smart Antenna) method hereafter). The AAC-SA method enables the autonomous formation of uneven shaped communicable areas. This study focuses on the formation of the radiation pattern of the broadcast channel that corresponds to the shape of the area formed by the BS itself, unlike conventional smart antennas.
