In this work, the effective electric permittivity for dielectric mixtures is extracted from electromagnetic full 3D simulation data in the micro-wave range. The models of powder consist of periodically arranged spherical particles. The structures were excited with a plane wave and scattering parameters were simulated. Afterwards the effective properties were extracted. The knowledge of the effective properties can be helpful for understanding the basic physical phenomena as well as for further modelling and optimization.
