Inhalt:
Radar data are needed for target-background scenarios, which would require a high effort for the data collection, if airborne SAR sensors would be used for this purpose. The contribution describes a ground based millimeterwave SAR approach to collect such data for a a variety of targets and background with much lower temporal and financial requirements. Ground based measurements of single targets with the aim to determine the high resolution scattering center distribution are discussed, as well as wide angle SAR experiments for the collection of target-background scenarios.
