Inhalt:
In this paper, based on the generalized ambiguity function (GAF) and projection theory, the propagation error of ‘Stop-and-Go’ assumption is quantitatively achieved. Considering the effect of earth rotation in geosynchronous SAR, the complicated Doppler gradient vector is analytically obtained at the first time, moreover the accurate resolution calculation is derived in detail. At last, the imaging results verify the correctness of resolution calculation and indicate that the effect of earth rotation will result in resolution extension over fifty percent or even more in geosynchronous SAR.
