Inhalt:
In summer 2009 the SAR research group of the Center for Sensorsystems (ZESS) started a project to generate high resolution SAR data, which is acquired by a stationary receiver. As illuminator for our experiments the German TerraSAR-X satellite is used, which can generate frequency modulated signals with a bandwidth up to 300MHz. We intend to acquire the direct satellite signal and the backscattered signal from the scene with a stationary X-band receiver, mounted on the roofs of high buildings, or on bridges looking into valleys, etc. After giving some basics of the bistatic SAR interferometry, this paper presents an insight into our experiments we have done in the field of interferometry and polarimetry.
