Global Performance Monitoring from TanDEM-X Quicklook Data

The primary objective of the TanDEM-X mission is the generation of a global high resolution digital elevation model (DEM) with single-pass SAR interferometry. In order to globally monitor and optimize the interferometric performance, TanDEM-X quicklook data and quality indicators in the annotation files are used to generate large scale maps. With these maps, DEM performance limitations can be efficiently analyzed and improved solutions for future acquisitions can be found.
