The paper combines bistatic forward-looking configuration characteristic with an ellipsoid geometry, considers the case of large coherent integration angle and then gives the ground resolution formula for bistatic SAR with geostationary illuminator and UAV receivers. The forward-looking ground resolution variation with the different distance of point target under different moving direction of receiver has been given in the simulation experiment, and the forward-looking ground resolution has also been given when the UAV receiver moves along the horizontal baseline direction. Several conclusions are drawn.
